I developed an interest in woodworking in high school thanks to the efforts of my shop teacher, Mr. Parham. While all the other kids were building skateboards, he coached me to building a beautiful set of walnut stereo speakers. I dabbled off and on over the years with small projects until a friend bought a new table saw and I inherited his old contractor saw. Several years ago, I was fortunate enough to meet an accomplished and professionally trained furniture craftsman. Since then, my skills, range (and tools) have grown exponentially – limited only by the time I have to work in my shop.

I find most of my inspiration in Contemporary / Modern, Art Deco, Biedermeier and Empire styles but see fascinating elements all around me that often find their way into my work.  Each piece is individually designed and constructed to meet your aesthetic and functional tastes.   I prefer to work with hardwoods and enjoy the extensive array of exotic veneers and solids that Mother Nature has provided.
